Landscapes
Artist Statement
I have been an artist my whole life. Over the last five years I have been painting plein air landscapes, working on location around the Bay Area.
There are extra challenges in creating art outdoors but the experience of being outside and paying attention to the changing light and the motions of the land brings a special reward. I work to capture the look of light and the feel of the place in my paintings.
